Were you calling people Nazi's? Just call them Minutemen. Same thing but "Minutemen" is a kind of new word which is pretty much the same thing.
Referring of course to today's Minutemen, racist vigilantes with guns at the US/Mexican border. Not referring to the real Minutemen in early American history.

I think the secret is to be so bleeding edge when it comes to being offensive that nobody realizes what you are doing is offensive.

I too have noticed a significant increase in bannings, ever since the /report function was introduced, from both posts appearing on GWG, and chat in-game. I find myself not wanting to PvP as much (since if you beat someone, they might "take offense to your name"). I find myself not wanting to trade (in case I accidentally buy a "duped" item without knowing about it, or I get accused of scamming). I don't want to say anything in local chat, or to anyone I don't know in case I get reported for "offensive" comments (which I would never even consider doing anyway).
The thing that scares me most is the idea of what people find "offensive". The definition of what is considered "Offensive" to someone is a very difficult topic to deal with, and way too ambiguous. ArenaNet need to spend a little time, looking into some of the most used languages in GuildWars and decide for themselves what constitutes "offensive", rather than having a 13 year old troublemaker make that decision for them.
(P.S. Sorry to stereotype - I know many young GW players who are perfectly rational, sensible human beings)

So this is what GW is like today? People afraid to do anything because they might get ban?
Anyway I'm enjoying the Rahja's show atm.

Anet have started down a very dangerous road with this banning lark. Offensive name?? OK so ANY names with Mohammad in them have to be changed. Oh and in fact the entire game could be offensive to various religions that believe in only 1 god. So I guess we will just have to turn off the servers right?
What about if some German guy was actually called Herman Otto Tiberius Fokker. He may want to call his toon H O T Fokker. OOPS banned because his actual RL name is 'offensive'. Suppose my name is Richard and being an old bastard everyone has called me dick all my life. I make a char called Healer Dick, or maybe for a laugh Spotted Dick, as in the famous, british suet and raisins pudding. Oh bollox my name is offensive..... banned.
What an absolute crock of shit. There are people that can find just about anything offensive. Are we gonna pander to their pathetic sensibilities or get on with playing a FANTASY game.
Also I borrowed 700K from my mate when I was working towards a bow I wanted. I have now payed him back. There was a lot of money moving backwards and forwards. And I move large amounts of cash and materials between my 2 accounts. I don't believe either of those situations break the EULA, so why are bans being given for people who do them?
Not impressed that they seem to be harming possible sales of GW2 which I want to buy but may still change my mind.

yes giving some kids a little bit of power goes a terribly long way.
In a game that is FULL of it's own little innuendos it's roffelcopter'd up.
2 of my characters are on ice, in fear of their names being...too strong.
one pays homage to a certain female GWAR member, the other to the grandaddy
of D&D. (and no I won't post them. lol.)

Do you live in a border state? Are you overun with illegals? Does your state give them the sun, moon and stars like California?
Sorry but they all need to stay in their own country
Racism has nothing to do with us being over run with illegals.

i wonder if banning people who, some of them, have not broken the users license agreement opens anet up to some sort of lawsuit. If a person can file against mcdonalds for spilling their own hot coffee, I can see how it could be argued in court that this in some way effected someones life. Remember, to some people this game is actually their life. In my opinion anet is breaking our users lisence agreement by banning people without warning, real cause, or explanation.
As it is now, anyone can ban anyone for about any reason. Thats like if i went outside, walked up to a cop and said, "that guy killed me last week" and the cop said, "Okay". Walks over to the guy and puts him into a coma for a week.
I can see the bans coming style
Just a thought

I have yet to see an answer to this. Would someone like to shed a little light for me?

I don't think McDonalds had an EULA either though.
